New-Look Prayer Room

We have spent a couple of days re-jigging our prayer room at the house in Malborough with a vision to more people using it. Inspired by the 24 hour boiler rooms Lewis and I have freed up the space, added better lighting and given spaces on the walls for prayers to be stuck with PostIts. At the special holy hour twenty people came and the atmosphere was that of deep prayer, stillness and intercession. It is all too easy to relegate prayer as the fag end of the Christian life and to fill our days with busyness. This room puts prayer firmly at the heart of what the Foundation believes and strives for.
